International Social Service HK – Charity event.
Thursday Nov 6, Maxibit sponsored a wine pairing dinner a charity event for the international child protection program through Fred Kong at the Maxibit HK office. ISS HK – International Social Service Hong Kong Branch held the event at No. 15 Barker Road on The Peak, Victoria House which is the residence of the Chief Secretary for Administration and one of the best preserved colonial-style buildings in Hong Kong.
Victoria House is a colonial neo-classical two-story building set in beautiful gardens, and is constructed mainly in reinforced concrete with a granite base and is covered with glazed pantiles.
Placed lithely on top of the island as it resides on what is commonly known as “The Peak”, Victoria Peak is the highest mountain on Hong Kong Island.
So the event offered a magnificent panoramic view of the Hong Kong Island. On one of the images you see part of the 2nd tallest building in Hong Kong the International Financial Centre with it’s 88 floors. (412m/1,352 ft tall).
Hopefully a very successful evening for ISS HK.
