A Global Call for Corporate Sustainability.
We believe that to run a successful company today, we have to consider more than just financial gain. Our generation will have an enormous impact on what the future will be like for the following generations.
In June 2012 on the UN Conference on Sustainable Development, world leaders come together to build consensus on a more sustainable course for our world. The Forum is held in cooperation with the Rio+20 Secretariat, the UN System and the Global Compact. The Corporate Sustainability Forum will consist of more than 60 focused sessions on themes related to the Rio+20 agenda. These themes have been identified based on their relevance to business and its capacity to provide substantive contributions to corresponding UN objectives. The Forum will explore each theme’s unique challenges and opportunities for business and aims to identify practical ways forward.
Forum sessions will have a common purpose and design: to spur action and stimulate greater uptake. Innovative public-private partnerships, business contributions and new commitments will be showcased for each theme. Events will be organized by a wide range of organizations, including the UN Global Compact; UN Agencies, Funds and Programmes; Global Compact Local Networks; and other selected partners.
Maxibit has since 2007 been a selected member of UN Global Compact to lead the way for the portable industry. Maxibit is committed to follow its ten guiding principles regarding human rights, labour standards, environment and anti-corruption.
This is our way of reducing our footprint.

Christian Ahlberg is CEO at Maxibit WorldwideAB. I was born 1970, the same year Jimi Hendrix died. I started with Maxibit in the company in 1995 as a designer, and since then I've worked in graphic production, sales, shipping and finally CEO. Before working with Maxibit I started a men's fashion store and was self employed for three years and before that been working as a wood shop teatcher for a year and I also studied at the University of Uppsala. I love outdoor activities such as fishing, skiing, water sports, sailing, skating and of course spending time with my family and friends. If it isn't fun it's not worth it! So start showing your teeth in a big smile every day even if you're wearing brases!
