Maxibit in successful cooperation with russian marketing guru

The book Marketing at 100 % is written by Igor Mann, a well-known russian marketing guru, and is a result of his many years of experience in the field of marketing and branding.

One chapter of the book is dedicated to the benefits of portable marketing. Mr Mann became aware of the advantages of this kind of marketing when he, as one of Maxibit's first customers, got in contact with the company in early 1993. Since then the two parties have had a great cooperation with each other. Maxibit Russia has sponsored the book and has the Maxibit logo printed on the back cover.

Appendix no 18: Portable Exhibition Stands Ð for Exhibitions, Presentations and POS

"Today most marketing managers are familiar with portable exhibition stands. It is like a magic tool, extraordinary in its own way, with the touch a hand (or to be more exact - hands, but it is possible to set up the construction with a single hand) it transforms from a box, wall chart, or a tube into a large colourful advertisement wall, exhibition wall, billboard or even a booth stand.

To me, it seemed as if I was one of Maxibit Russia first customers back in early 1993. And I definitely knew what a mobile stand was before I learned about mobile telephones.

The company Ciba-Geigy, where I worked, requested a portable stand that was to go with my colleagues, Sales and Business development Managers, on a journey throughout the CIS countries (former USSR). This "thing", that was well known by our colleagues from the western countries, was totally new in our country. I took a risk, a big risk, when I ordered a portable stand from Maxibit Russia. As I already said, it seemed as if I was their very first customer ...

When I finally came to Maxibit Russia's office though, to collect the ready made stand, I didn't regret it all. In front of my eyes two sales persons set up the stand in 3 minutes (later I dissembled the stand in about 5 minutes, myself), turned the the lamps on and ... what a beauty!

I returned to the office with the box, opened it in front of the Sales Managers - and instantly became a hero. It would have been hard to come up with a more effective solution to help my colleagues with their presentations abroad. A big noticeable picture, bright lights and comfortable podiums for our marketing materials ... The stand was a 100% success! After some time I ordered yet another stand from Maxibit Russia ... My colleagues didn't want to go travelling without portable stands, and one stand was of course not enough for the all of us ...

Then I started to work for another company, Favor, and once again ordered a portable stand. This time for our showroom with Konica photo cameras and articles, in our office, and then also for quality stores.

And 10 years passed.
