On the initiative of Fred Kong, President of Maxibit HongKong/China, the 10th anniversary was marvellously celebrated. The facilities of Maxibit HK/China are exclusively located in the Hong Kong Exhibition Centre at the very heart of Hong Kong. 

The celebrations were opened by the General Manager of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce, Mrs Eva Karlberg, with an official lunch for some 30 prominent guests from the Swedish and Chinese industry. After lunch the celebration continued at Mr Kong's showroom where Christian Ahlberg, VD of Maxibit Worldwide AB, introduced Maxibit and Fred Kong gave a short presentation of Maxibit Hong Kong.

In the evening there was a baquet at the newly established luxury hotel "Conrad". The governments from both Sweden and Canada were represented by Consul Anna-Lisa Trulsson (Consulate General of Sweden) and Trade Commissioner Brian Wong (Consulate General of Canada). Attending representatives from the industry were Director Leslie K.Y. Chan (Canada Imperial Bank of Commerce) and Chairman Stanley Chu (Hong Kong Exhibition & Convention Industry Association) who happily mingled among the 100 guests.

Guests were treated to cocktails and hors d'ouvres. Congratulatory video greetings were sent to Mr Kong from Australia, USA and Austria.

It was a truly inspiring evening!
